Modular Home
Modular homes are detached single family homes. They are made in one or more factory build sections that comply with the same building code as site-built homes. Modular homes are generally designed to be placed on a crawl space or a basement foundation. The interior walls are finished with painted drywall with unlimited options and upgrades that are the same as stick built homes.
Manufactured Home
Manufactured homes are detached single family homes. They are made of one or more factory built sections that are in compliance with the Alberta Building Code and the National Mobile Home standard. Each home has longitudinal steel frame rails or wooden truss systems that form part of the permanent surface foundation system. The interior walls are finished using pre-finished vinyl- clad drywall or painted drywall.
